TRIBUNE: TG RAPPED FOR NO NAPOLES IN PROBE “What are they so afraid of?” UNA interim president Toby Tiangco asked the Guingona panel as Tiangco expressed surprise that Napoles, a key corroborator in the Malampaya Fund scam, was dropped from the Senate blue ribbon committee’s roll of resource persons for the hearing. At least two senators, oppositionist JV Ejercito and Aquino ally Francis Escudero also criticized Guingona for not including Napoles as a resource person in today’s hearing. Tiangco said for the sake of transparency and public interest, Justice Secretary Leila de Lima should also make public the five-and-a-half-hour video in which Napoles detailed the circumstances surrounding the PDAF and Malampaya Fund scams and how Budget Secretary Florencio Abad coached her how to set up fake non-government organizations.
