TRIBUTE TO A FALLEN BULLY Im sorry to say but we lost one of our own today, DIESEL came into rescue on the 17/9/13 from Hawkesbury Pound, he went into foster care with the lovely Robin Shea but proved to be a bit of a handful so he went to AADT for some manner tweaking. Diesel then got fostered by the marvellous Mallard family for some indepth one on one time with behavioural expert Scott who got him to like certain dogs again without the aggression aspect. Then on the 21/7/14 he struck gold with Michael Atsas falling for his good wit and charm, it was a perfect match. Diesel started to feel a bit off colour a few weeks back so Michael took him to the vet who said pop a few antibiotics but they didnt work so back to the vet who prescribed stronger antibiotics, but still no better, then in the last couple of days Diesel really started to deteriorate so back to vets this morning where he was diagnosed with cancer of the spleen which had also spread to his lungs, Michael made the tough decision to end Diesels pain and send him on. You made rescue proud Diesel and for that we thank you.
