Location of eye/center: At 10:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression “LABUYO” was estimated based on all available data at 1,000 km East of Bicol Region (13.6°N, 134.7°E). Strength: Maximum winds of 55 kph near the center. Movement: Forecast to move Northwest at 19 kph. Forecast Positions: Tropical Depression “LABUYO” is expected to be at 840 km East of Casiguran, Aurora by tomorrow morning. By Sunday morning, it will be at 490 km East of Tuguegarao City and at 80 km East of Aparri, Cagayan by Monday morning. • Estimated rainfall amount is from 5 – 10 mm per hour (moderate - heavy) within the 300 km diameter of the Tropical Depression. • Tropical Depression “LABUYO” is too far to directly affect any part of the country. However, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 65 km Southeast of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro (12.0°N, 121.4°E) embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) which will bring scattered light to moderate rains and thunderstorms over Southern Luzon, Visayas and Northern Mindanao. • The public and the disaster coordinating councils concerned are advised to take appropriate actions and watch for the next bulletin to be issued at 11 PM today.
