LUCIA * DOMINICA * PUERTO RICO * VIEQUES * CULEBRA * U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS * BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS TS WATCHES ISSUED FOR: * ST. VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES TS Bertha is 13.0N 57.0W, approx. 290 miles ESE of Martinique, maximum sustained winds 48 mph, 1008 mb. Storm surge, rip currents & possible tornadoes can spin off. The below images will help give you an idea of positions as TS Bertha moves closer; intensity, winds (which 1 showing 34 Kts & 2 showing 50 Kts, which STX & PR are in that swath); & CPA to STT & STX. **** NOTE: All residents & tourists please monitor local emergency reports & official Sites, NHC/NOAA/NWS for developing updates/forecasts! And, please do not do what I need to do, which is go out during Bertha to monitor conditions. Be safe, stay inside a sturdy structure. Remember, TS Bertha has been unpredictable, at best, so it could weaken again, but we are preparing as if it will not.
