TROPICAL STORM INFORMATION: The tropical depression I mentioned yesterday has been upgraded to a #tropical #storm and has been given the name #Fitow. The storm track has changed slightly since I last reported yesterday now calling for the storm to potentially reach #Cat3 strength and potentially pass closer to Okinawa than previously anticipated. Please remember that we are still approximately 72 to 96 hours out, which is a while, so there is a lot of time for things to change. As always I will keep you all as updated as possible through posts and other useful information. Speaking of useful information. If you are new to Okinawa, as I know some of you are, this is the time to make sure you have all the supplies you might need in the event that the storm does actually hit #Okinawa. What supplies do you need? A supply of emergency food, flashlights. . you know all the essentials that should be in a home in case of emergency.
