TROY students head to Washington conference A OPP STUDENT WILL BE ATTENDING!!! TROY – Students from Troy University’s Manuel H. Johnson Center for Political Economy will head to the nation’s capitol next week to attend the largest pro-liberty student gathering in existence. The International Students for Liberty Conference brings together about 1,600 student leaders for each year for a weekend celebration of the cause of freedom. Attendees will participate in a live taping of the STOSSEL Show and will hear from speakers such as Ghanaian economist George Ayittey, drug policy reform proponent Ethan Nadelmann, and Academy Award winning director Oliver Stone.
