TRUE LOVE THE ONLY RELIGION OF THE FUTURE Debutant author and fashion designer Poonam Uppal addresses love and spirituality in her upcoming book - A Passionaate Gospel Of True Love. Explocity spoke to Uppal who says that the book actually reflects her own love story and how she uncovered a new religion called love. Poonam Uppal comes from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh and enjoyed a successful career as a fashion designer before turning to writing. Explaining that she hasn’t turned away from fashion designer, Uppal says, “I love my work. Writing just happened to be an inner calling,” adding that it was “an inspiration from Maa Durga herself.” She believes she is the messiah of love and she wishes to “help all souls or split halves find each other”. She says that the only solution to divorce and heart ache is to learn the art of true love. Something every couple should learn before jumping into marriage. When asked about the relevance of the double ‘a’ in the name of her book, Uppal explained that the alphabet has emotional, vedic and neurological significance adding, “The names of two of the most important people in my life, starts with ‘a’, therefore I used double ‘a’ in the title.”“We all need a wake up call to graduate to another dimension. True love is the only religion of the future. Its said in my book True love is a rare occurrence that occurs once in a million years. People do fall in love but that’s not true love. If you move on to another partner, that’s not true love. True love is when your journey halts; when you feel you’ve reached home.
