TRUE STORY: ME N MAYA IN THE MOVIE STORE: Im in block buster gettin cheap movies (theyre closing) aannnnd this lady asks me if she could pray with me....I was like....ok.....she wasnt extra loud but not extra quiet either.....other people could hear her....and everyone stopped moving and talking while she was praying....it wasnt one of those fire n brimstone prayers....just a simple prayer for my life and those around me.....when she was done everyone began to move again and carry on....she asked me what I pray for when I talk to God....I told her I dont ask for much.....just to be okay while Im on this earth and to take me safely to the other side....I dont ask for wealth...or fame or nutn....I just ask that Im always able to feed my kid....shelter her...and to help me cope wth myself and the demons I face...I pray for other people...and thank Him for the life I have....etc...simple stuff....she said God has great things in store for me n maya...she said He has made a promise to us and will never abandoned us and to never lose Faith.....and she said be blessed and left....everybody was lookin at me like I was a freakn alien or sumn.....I purchased my movies and left....didnt give it much thought....just accepted it for what it was.
