TRUST UNLIMITED Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. Job 13:15 (KJV) Wendy Blight in his book Hidden Joy in a Dark Corner: The Transforming Power of Gods Story said “God alone knows exactly what you and I must endure in order to form His character in us. It is in our trials that God refines us and removes our impurities. Like refined gold, when we pass through our trials, people will see His perfect reflection in us.” If we are going to learn to trust God in adversity, we must believe God will allow nothing to subvert His glory so He will allow nothing to spoil the good He is working out in us and for us. Job told his friends..Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him...Job 13:15 (KJV). In the midst of pains, sickness, death...he never wavered on his trust in God. He never knew that there was a bet on his head, he never knew that God was bragging about him, he never knew about the host of heaven that were eagerly watching him from heavenly crank-stand to see if Job will fail, but he never gave up, he never failed the hosts of heaven...he never failed God, He made Him proud...unlimited trust. Can you say that today? Though He slay me....We must learn to trust God decision and plans for our lives. We must learn to allow Him take the lead in our affairs. We must learn to trust Him even in severe persecutions, pains and afflictions. When the enemy attack you on all sides, when the storms of life comes, what will be your response? Will you still stand? Will you still remember God? What will be your response? Will you be controlled by discipline or desire? Will you cry out in fear or live by faith? Will you obey or disobey? Will you quit the church and move into the world or will you stay the course, stand and fight with your shield of faith?
