TRUTH. AND TRANSPARENCY. (DANNERS) There was a meeting on Maui on Monday January 12, 2015 for the homesteaders that Robin Danner appeared at. She was very critical of the revised DHHL rules concerning leases to mercantile, etc. She strongly spoke playing on the emotions of the attendees and was critical of the Commission and Jobie. In the audience was her team which included Blossom who is her voice on Maui. Everyone needs to MAKAALA as this dramatic theatrical act will be replayed on each island by Robin. Why ask yourself is Robin Danner suddenly seems to be on the side of the DHHL beneficiaries? What is she going to get out of this? What businesses does she want on our lands? Solar? Windmills? Prison? More low income housing? She is not to be trusted, she has never done anything where she and her sister Jade does not profit. Robin Danner and her sister Jade are hoohaole. They both claim and try to portray themselves as the SAVIORS of the kanaka oiwi. Well, they are NOT! They are FEDWRECKS, they are SELLOUTS and LIARS. They are playing on the emotions of our kanaka Oiwi. DONT FALL FOR THEIR CRAP. PLEASE READ THIS...............TRUE STORY This occurred at the AHCC convention in Las Vegas some years ago. It was about a decade ago when the Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs held their annual convention in Las Vegas. It was during the time when both the US federal Akaka bill as well as drilling for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) province in Alaska were both hot and very controversial topics. During one of the AHCC Las Vegas meeting sessions, Chuck Doc Burrows brought in to the room three or four members of the native Alaskan Gwichʻin tribe who had travelled from Alaska especially to be there. The Gwichʻin tribe members told the AHCC audience they were there at the convention in Las Vegas to plead for AHCC to issue a resolution of support for the Gwichʻin as native peoples and against ANWR drilling. Why? Simply put, if drilling in the ANWR were allowed, the Gwichʻin and their way of life faced extinction as the drilling would have interrupted or destroyed the Alaskan migration patterns of the Caribou, which was the Gwichʻin only source of food at that time of the year. You could both see and feel the urgency of their plight on their faces and in their voices. They begged those attending in the room for their support. Robin Danner, Council For Native Hawaiian Advancement president at the time, was sitting in the audience and stood to speak. She reminded the audience comprised of Hawaiian Civic Club members that if outsiders came to Hawai`i to suggest how they should live, it would be considered highly inappropriate. Hawaiians would be offended. She stated that Hawaiians certainly would not want the Gwichʻin or anyone else to come into Hawai`i and tell them what to do. Therefore Hawaiians should not get involved as outsiders in the lives and ways of native Alaskans. Robin Danner urged the AHCC members against issuing a resolution of support for the Gwichʻin. Since her line of reasoning seemed to make sense from a cultural protocol standpoint at the time, the resolution was voted down. The Gwichʻin members left the room in tears. The shaken and stunned look on Chuck Burrows face was telling. The feeling in the room was that something very heavy had just happened, but no one at the time could possibly know what had really just occurred. It was only afterwards it was revealed Robin Danner had at that time been an undercover paid lobbyist for Arctic Oil - the very company that was seeking permission to drill in the ANWR. She had double-crossed the Gwichʻin for her own personal gain and that of her sister Jade, and because of her lack of disclosure of this one important fact, Robin Danner had both tricked and lied once again to her own people.
