TRY THIS 360 DEGREE FEEDBACK EXERCISE: Invite 5-10 colleagues, friends, and family members to participate in a self-evaluation experiment. Ask them to answer the following questions about your strengths, weaknesses, and areas they feel you could improve. These are the questions: 1. In your honest opinion, what do you see as my greatest strengths? 2. What do you see are my weaknesses? 3. What areas do you feel I could improve in, and what do you think is the best way to begin to make those changes? It takes courage to do this, but many business schools, corporations, and consultants have found this to be one of the most powerful ways to encourage healthy change in the workplace AND in the personal relationship arena.
