#TTwins exercise of the day: Load and Explode Burpee Push-up; this is a great complex or compound movement, working several muscle groups at one timeAlso, compound movements help burn more calories in a shorter period of time. Who doesnt want that?! To modify for a regression, use lighter dumbbells or no weight at all, and just jump out into a plank instead of adding the push-up. For a progression, use heavier weights, get lower on your squat and/or lift one leg on that push-up. Some things to keep in mind, maintain a neutral back when squatting, always keep a 90-degree angle, no knees over the toes. I went a little wider on the squat to really get that load and keep that good form. When jumping out into the burpee or plank be sure to keep that spine neutral, no sinking of the back and no butts/hips up in the air. For the push-up, keeping that good plank form, lower your body having your chest hit the floor first. Now get after it!
