TUCSON -- In response to the announcement of the recount results in the 2nd congressional district, Americans for Prosperity- Arizona, the states largest grassroots organization fighting for economic freedom, released the following statement: By a very narrow vote, the people of Southern Arizona removed a tax and spender from the United States House of Representatives, said AFP-Arizona State Director Tom Jenney. Ron Barber was just another vote for Obamas failed policies. The people of Southern Arizona now have the opportunity to see new representation in Washington. Our hope is that Congresswoman-Elect Martha McSally will make a sharp break with Barbers policies and serve her constituents as a voice against reckless government spending, high taxes and excessive red tape.
