TUESDAY 21ST JANUARY 2014 PERSECUTION A BLESSING “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12) Several years ago, I learnt Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin talked about how the Lord appeared to him and told him he was blessing him with the healing ministry and wanted him to reach the world with it, but he began to reject it. The Lord then asked him why he didn’t want the healing ministry, and Brother Hagin replied, “Lord, there’s too much criticism attached to people in the healing ministry.” Then the Lord said to him, “I sent you, so go and don’t be worried about their criticisms, because you would give account to Me and not to them.” The healing ministry has always faced serious persecutions and if you’re involved in it, you better be ready to catch some! There are people who would criticize you because they don’t understand the healing ministry. You may not be in the healing ministry but if you want to move in the power of God, then you’re going to experience the same things. You will face a lot of criticism, especially from people who profess to know God. If you notice, the Pharisees and Sadducees didn’t criticize themselves they criticized Jesus because of His miracles. They got envious of him and tried to discredit Him, and it’s the same way today. But mark my words, the healing ministry and the miraculous will increase like never before in these last days and there’s nothing the devil can do about it! God has given you a tongue and an anointing that no one can stand against. The anointing of God is upon you; the strength of God is upon you. Don’t be afraid. You will heal people in the Name of Jesus Christ, and through you the mighty and matchless Name of the Lord Jesus Christ will be preached and glorified around the world. You will see signs and wonders in your home, your church and your ministry. The anointing of God upon your life will be greatly increased and no one will be able to bring you down!
