TUESDAY,26TH AUGUST 2014. EVENING DEVOTION. RESTORED FROM HARM AND DESTRUCTION! TONIGHTS SCRIPTURE. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee(Isaiah 43:2 KJV) The above scripture is for you and your loved ones. From today, you will never see any form of harm or destruction around you. The same way God delivered the Israelites in the wilderness,you will enjoy supernatural protection and safety (Exodus 13:21 KJV).A wilderness is characterised by wild beasts and all kinds of terrible things. It is not a conducive place for human habitation. At night it is extremely cold and in the day it is extremely hot. This was the kind of harsh weather conditions the children of Israel found themselves. Being under such harsh conditions for those numbers of years in the wilderness could have meant death for them all. But the Lord was with them. He gave them His own atmosphere by shielding them as a cloud in the day time and thus protecting them from the scorching sun. At night, He was a pillar of fire, protecting them from the extremely cold weather. From the above account, it is obvious that the children of Israel travelled with Gods presence of restoration. If you are born again,you carry the glorious presence of the Holy Spirit in and around you. (John 14:17 KJV).You carry your own atmosphere of restoration. You are divinely shielded and immune from everything that hurts, binds or destroys. Everyone around you may have an infection due to the outbreak of an epidemic but not you. There is something that creates a restorative atmosphere of health and victory around you. It is the in dwelling and abiding presence of the Holy Spirit. Refuse to live in fear because you are shielded from harm, evil and destruction(Psalms 91:7 KJV).
