TUESDAY: On July 31st, my beloved brother RON posted a status note on Facebook which you can still find below in one of my status reports. In that note, he said: I can feel my body unwinding like a broken spring now. Energy gone!......MY PLEA IS FOR A PEACEFUL DEATH SURROUNDED BY AS MANY OF THE PEOPLE I LOVE AS POSSIBLE. It is hard to type those words with tears in ones eyes but they are so eloquent and typical of the beautiful man he IS. As many of you have already seen, he continues to lose ground; was facing severe pain and difficult breathing (has had hiccups for days!). On Monday Ellen (his wife) and he decided to head for SEASONS hospice to see what could be done. If possible, Ron still wants to be at home for his transition into eternity. Time will tell... His eldest is Christine Anne and she arrived in Aurora Monday night to be with Ron & the family. So his three kids are all together now. THANKS FOR ALL THE PRAYERS FROM ALL THE FACEBOOK FRIENDS & PRAYER WARRIORS...weve been praying for Ron for nearly TWO FULL YEARS now! He was diagnosed in late September or early October of 2012! And after the Whipple surgery in November of 2012, he began chemo in January of 2013 up to the present! He was shooting for another chemo TODAY when I spoke to him on Sunday night, but..... Please pray for Ron, Ellen, Christine, Richard, and Jeffrey and the whole Kramer clan at this truly special time. Ron has an identical twin brother, Don; and a sister, Barbara Jean, and our kid brother, Bob, and myself. I finish my remarks for today with a beautifully loving comment my sister-in-law, Ellen made to me on Sunday night: Rich, always tell people what a GIANT of a man Ron is! You are so correct, Ellen!
