TUESDAY UPDATE They are doing surgery about every other day in order to prep Kellys legs for her skin flap to cover and be connected Her blood clots are behind her kness The skin tissue is basically dead below her knee, so that is why they are trying to save and prep that area and prepare the muscle The reason for this is so that she will have the possibility to walk with prostesis She has a 2 fingers that have clots in them now Her pointer finger on her rt hand and slightly on the middle finger They are doing a CT SCAN on her upper extremities today to find out further information on that area She will have surgery again tomorrow and probably on Friday The doctors, nurses, and staff are amazed by her determination, strength, courage, and fight She is fully conscious and aware She is never totally knocked out by the pain medication Her pain level has been very high From 10-12 (on a scale from 1-10) Yet she continues without complaining or breaking down It is truely amazing! She has recieved lots of cards and balloons and flowers I read her your comments from Facebook everyday She continues to be determined and is truely thankful and grateful for all of your love, support, and encouragement She is trying take some calls and talk to some of you We know you are concerned and worried But there are TEAMS of doctors working on her case because of the severity and rare events that have taken place They are working hard to find some answers They are constantly running test, taking blood, and analizing her situation hourly So we appreciate your patience and understanding I will continue to udate you Your prayers are doing miracles!!!
