TUESDAYS LAY OF THE DAY -------------------------------- 3.45 Ascot - DAWN APPROACH (2.6) Ok it did not stay lto at Epsom so you can forgive that run but then you have to look at how Dawn Approach ran in that race regardless of the distance and it just did not travel at all and was pulling hard. The drop in trip tomorrow should suit but turned out after 17 days is way too soon and this horse now has question marks over its head on whether it can recapture its form. Me personally i think it will flop again tomorrow. Also ive compared timings between Magician and the selection over 8f. Obviously at different tracks but Magician completed 8f at the Irish 2000 guineas in 1min 36.84secs and Dawn Approach completed 8f in the 2000 guineas in 1min 35.84secs. And even Toronado has a finishing time over 8f of 1min35secs to its name and i dont think it brought its A game to the 2000 guineas won by Dawn Approach at Newmarket. Placing a liability stake of £48.60 to hopefully win back £30 backers stake.
