TUNICA HUMANE SOCIETY IS OFFERING A $1000.00 REWARD FOR INFORMATION LEADING TO THE ARREST OF WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS UNFORGIVABLE ACT OF ANIMAL CRUELTY.... You know, I have struggled with this all afternoon. Should I let this go on Christmas Day. But the more I struggle with what happened to this innocent dog, I feel compelled to do all that we can to find the person responsible for this horrific act of cruelty. The truth be known, the person responsible here, probably just got a bow and arrow for Christmas. And they probably decided to use this beautiful dog for target practice. I dont know for sure what happened. All I know is that someone did a horrible thing yesterday and they need to be held accountable. I am posting a picture of the arrow used to gravely injure this animal. If you recognize it or know someone that uses this type arrow, please contact us. The dog was found on the side of the road in the Coldwater-Arkubutla Road area. Whoever did this possibly lives close by. It is tragic that this dog suffered for hours, slowly bleeding to death, because of the action of this person.
