TURKIC CURIOSITY: Did you know that Yakuts and Chuvash people are considered to be the two turkic people with less connections with other turkic people? In a study conducted by Khazar University, in Azerbaijan, about the genetics of turkic, slavic and iranian people, Chuvashs showed to be 89% Caucasian, 9% Mongoloid, being much more related with finno-ugric people than turkic, however, their language is purely turkic, but distinct of any subdivision of turkic people. Leiden University published an article about Sakha origin and the result was a connection between Yakuts and Evenks, Yukaghirs and Dolgans, what confirmed that Yakuts are an hybrid people with relations with both tungustic and turkic people- Sibirskiy
