TURN OF EVENTS After marriage, a bride went to stay with her husband. As cautioned earlier, her mother-in-law kept finding fault with all what she did. Initially the girl felt hurt, but realizing that God is able to change the situations, she clung to Him. She prayed that the strength of God should lead her in her day to day life and give her grace as and when she felt downcast. God’s compassion and mercy began to move in her family and the Holy Spirit strengthened her. Every time her mother-in-law grunted, she just smiled and a divine love strengthened her. Days passed by, the mother-in-law began to sense the grace of God in her. Both shared the love of God, prayed together and became a testimony to others. Trust in God and He will change the situations that could be hurting, into joyful ones. “Nevertheless God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus” (2 Corinthians 7:6).
