TV Asahis Good Morning managed to track down the by-now-notorious, Chiba Prefecture caped crusader known across the social media as Chibatman. The video is in Japanese, but the crew manage to accost him, and are invited back to his secret hideout, where our hero reveals himself to be a single, 41-year-old dockworker. He says he has been adopting this disguise for three years or so, with the primary aim of making people smile. We also get an introduction to his batpod, the bike he built himself from imported parts to the tune of some ￥600,000, also taking care of the metalworking duties. When asked for his future plans, he replies I suppose Ill keep on riding. Putting smiles on peoples faces means everything to me. At 5:27 we are even treated to a glimpse of the handsome features behind the mask. Apparently the rubber suit is so sweaty that he loses up to 3kg of fluid every time he does the rounds.
