TV Show Former police officer Jack Whelan has a troubled, violent past but has grown accustomed in recent years to a quiet life with wife Amy. Throw in a shadowy late-night radio broadcaster and hints about finding immortality by taking over the bodies of others, and BBC America once again has plunged us into an alternative universe where strange and rarely wonderful things happen.Its happy to play around with symbology, exposit amid the pines, suggest a quest for immortality, eliminate the most knowledgeable characters to make sure things stay murky, and leave the rest for later.
