TV3: Yesterday, in light of their upcoming program about four TDs living on the Dole for a month, I MADE THE FOLLOWING suggestion. I have been involved in community development projects since I was twelve years old. We were members of the first VDP youth branch in Ireland. My unpaid work has always been to help/aid others less well off than myself, sometimes they were better off. My suggestion was this, since four TDs are going to experience living on the Dole for a month, pick me and three others to live on the wage and expenses of the self same TDs. I will attend the Dail every day that it is sitting, I will be completely non-party, I will listen to all and any proposals put forward. If asked, I will offer my own suggestions on how to resolve the questions raised, they might make sense, they might not. After the four weeks filming, it will take longer than that, put the eight of us in a room and allow us to share our experiences with the public. I am still awaiting a reply from TV3....Will they reply, or is this just another reality show???
