Ima knew that Rose and Vicky admired Pascal too but they wouldnt go near because they wanted him for their friend too. After work on a thursday, Ima was surprised to see chika waiting outside the building for her. i came to pick you home and see your beautiful office. sorry. maybe next time. if my boss see me in again, ill be given extra work and im tired. said Ima. im honoured to hear that you consider me a slave driver but im going home myself now, so you are free. said Dele who had just walk up behind them. Ima felt sick while Chika laughed. A moment later, they exchanged numbers and Dele complimented her dress. Ima could be invisible for all they cared. She felt hurt, Dele had never really told her he liked her dress before. and on their way back, chika kept chatting about Dele so much that Ima wished she hadnt showed up at the hotel at all. At home, Rose and Vicky were pleasantly surprised that chika had felt the same way about this man. everyone were happy to talk about him, that is, everyone except Ima. she felt that chikas excitement was too much but tried to smile along with them. at 7p.m they were still discussing about him so Ima went to bed. That night, sleep didnt come. she felt frustrated but did her work bitterly. when her pen fell from her hands. Ima broke down in tears. The next day, Dele called chika and they went out. chika blazing in a red dress and looking so Beautiful. Vicky and Rose teased her about it. thats how he did with Ima and employed her as accountant. for you, be happy if he manages to give you cleaner. said vicky, howling with laughter. maybe he will take her as a plumber, toilet repairs and stuffs like that. said Rose. Ima noticed that chika never called him Dele, she preferred calling him Pascal. maybe she thought calling him Dele would make it look like they knew him the same way. Everyone noticed the calls and their outings. These days, she stayed up just to chat online and Dele often went to the office looking tired but happy. two weeks later, chika paid him a visit in his office and stayed there for a long time. Vicky and Rose were angry. when chika left her phone on the table that night to go to the toilet, Dele called. Vicky picked and put in loudspeaker. chika, reply my messages.
