TWITTER, etc At this months meeting, we had a short discussion about Twitter and social networking, but none of those present was an expert, so please do post any comments below that you think could be helpful to us all. Points we discussed included: You can link Twitter to Facebook so that you dont have to waste time posting the same thing to both. You can time your tweets, and Facebook statuses. There are busier days and optimal times for tweeting, such as first thing in the morning and in the evening. If your target audience are mums, they may be checking Twitter and Facebook while waiting to pick up the kids, or just after dropping them off. (Since the meeting, I have googled best times for posting and there are lots of links about it). If you post anything about cats, it is more likely to get more views :) Facebook is passé among the younger generation. Instagram has taken over. It is great for photographs, and then you can use hashtags so that your photograph will come up in your target audiences searches. PLEASE do add any comments below!
