* * * TWO FLYING CHIS ON A GORGEOUS WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AT DELTA AIRLINES! * * * Kiki and Amanda jet their way to Portland, Oregon to make it home in time for the holidays!! Both are seniors and one a red lister set to be euthanized. They are now safe, healthy and ready to do some damage to those Christmas presents. .lol!! We have to give a little side kudos to Jesse, our vet tech. Amanda was diagnosed with an eye problem at the shelter. As soon as Jesse saw Amanda at the shelter, he knew it was an abcess that went up through the nasal cavity causing her eye to swell. The shelter vet tech came out, agreed and corrected the diagnosis and then gave Jesse a huge hug and Christmas kiss to say THANK YOU for saving a senior shelter favorite. Jesse took Amanda for surgery immediately and she has healed perfectly! So, a huge thank you from all of us at Chi Angeles Rescue to Jesse -- you are a VERY VALUABLE part of our team..:-) Fly safely little ones. ... we will miss you! And from all of us at Chi Angeles Rescue. ..REMEMBER. ..we CAN make a DIFFERENCE! Happy Holidays!
