TWO HEROES whose tale was reported exclusively in the Express will today receive national awards for their bravery. Two Saturdays ago, Express readers were told of the tale of two good Samaritans who braved life and limb to save a stranger from death. Cousins Ganesh and Shiv Bansraj are to receive Humming Bird Bronze medals for Gallantry from President Anthony Carmona at the country’s 51st Independence anniversary national awards ceremony at the Southern Academy for the Performing arts (SAPA) in San Fernando today. It is the first time the ceremony will be held in the southern part of the country.
