TWO LITTLE DOGS NEED A NEW HOME One is a male chihuahua and the other dog is a bit larger and I think she is a chihuahua/jack Russell mix. It is estimated that the female is 4 and the chihuahua is a bit older. These dogs are frequently seen roaming the neighborhood. While they have collars they have no tags except the little one does have a tag from 2010 that has the name of a vet’s office on it. Last week one of my very nice neighbors contacted that vet’s office and she took the dogs there last Tuesday. My husband found them roaming the neighborhood again this past Saturday. I posted info on facebook and tagged the vet clinic in my post. The vet actually called me on Sunday to let me know they had the dogs for most of the week and returned them to the owner on Friday. Said he had not seen them for years but he did give me the owners name and address. My neighbor kept them for three days and I helped her locate the owner (language problem). He told me that they are trouble. I told him that if they were not kept outside all day unattended perhaps they would not dig and try to get out. He told me he was going to ‘work on it’. I suggested he might consider rehoming them. He agreed it would be a good idea. He took them home (against my better judgment, for sure). Two days later my husband found them roaming in the neighborhood again. I called him and spoke with Mr. Bad Dog Owner. He told me he was at work and would come by around 7pm to get them, but he had to go to the gym first for his usual daily three hour work out. That was three days ago and they have been with us since. I already have 4 dogs. I just cannot keep them. They are loving, cuddly little guys. Very bonded to one another.
