TWO TO BE HONORED ON FRIDAY AT HALFTIME: Jake Lochhead and Sarah Bindel will be honored during halftime of the football game on Friday. Lochhead and Bindel are to be named the CHS Male and Female, respectively, Athlete of the Year for 2014. Lochhead is attending Blackburn College on a full-ride scholarship, while Bindel is running track for MurrayStateUniversity. Lochhead, a co-MVP of the Black Diamond Conference for baseball and a two-time all-conference selection for basketball, is playing both sports at Blackburn. Bindel, a four-year member of the Yellow Jackets’ cross country and track and field squads, finished fourth at the IHSA state track meet in May in both the 100-meter and 300-meter hurdles. Kickoff for Friday’s game is set for 7 p.m.
