#TXST BSB: There is something about the West Coast that just doesnt sit right with Texas State. For the 11th time in the last 12 games out west, the Bobcats came up empty-handed. This time it was an 8-6 loss for Texas State at Washington State on Friday night. A slow start put the Bobcats behind the 8-ball, but a five-run sixth inning got them right back in the mix. Tanner Hill, Tyler Pearson, Cory Geisler and Ben McElroy all knocked in runs during that frame. Texas State couldnt hold off the Cougars, as the hosts broke the 5-all tie with one run in the bottom of the sixth and then snapped a 6-all tie with two runs in the seventh. Tomorrow is a new day for the Bobcats as theyll look to bounce back and even the series at one game apiece.
