TYPE B TRUTH: Someone recently pointed out to me that I have been not exactly telling the absolute truth about how much I really work. Okay, to be honest, I dont live a lavish lifestyle. I own my own home, grow some of my own food, have an old paid off sports car that I hardly use because I work from home and theres a Farmers Market within walking distance. I upcycle and recycle. Yes, I sometimes go to the theatre and concerts and take vacations and eat brunch and such, because life is just not worth living otherwise. I live in accordance with what I believe is the Sacred Enough. And in the charmingly vague words of an old man I know, Eh, I dont suffer. But I dont want to mislead folks, or give the impression that this kind of lifestyle is for everyone. Its not. Not everyone is cut out to be a Type A entrepreneur. Im not. Im not cut out to work my ass off at a job making someone else rich while my own dreams sit on hold until some mythical later. So, I leverage my skills and time. You can, too. My confession? I used to say that I did this in 20-25 hours a week. I lied. I do all this as a Type B entrepreneur working 40-60 hours a month. I tell you this so that youll know that its possible.
