Ta Ha takes its name from the first verse. One of the Arabic - TopicsExpress

Ta Ha takes its name from the first verse. One of the Arabic Letters in the Koran that rightly guided Moslem scholars acknowledge is a miracle of the Koran. None knows its meaning save Allah. This chapter details the story of Moses and Pharaoh, a tyrannical ruler in Egypt that enslaved the Children of Israel and made them serve hard punishments. Moses saved his people from the bondage of Pharaoh, and Pharaoh with his hosts became drowned after clear evidences and portents reached him but he refused to believe in them. Also the Children of Israel became mislead when Moses had a 40 day devotion with Allah, while As-Samiri proposed that they worship a calf with that gave a lowing sound by casting their ornaments gotten from ancient Egyptian women into Fire, to make this graven image. Allah is ever displeased with this their (the Children of Israel) action because He kept reminding them of this mischief in many parts of the Koran, and many parts of the Bible. Besides the story of Moses and Pharaoh, Allah mentions the importance of remembering regularly, and not to forget remembering Him. And that human beings should see. The ones blind here will be blind in the hereafter-- that was what Allah said in Ta Ha. So let us open our hearts with the eyes within them to see truth, acknowledge it, and practice in our daily lives most importantly. Lessons from Ta Ha. 1. Oppression of any people is evil and will draw an evil end for those who engage in it, in this life and the hereafter. 2. People do not need to follow a misled leader like Pharaoh blindly, though they be weak-- the misled leaders also calls them to share a portion in hell which they must taste if they do not oppose them. 3. A messenger of God with clear proofs must be believed. Whether he comes with a sign as Moses, or with a Scripture as with Muhammad. 4. Idolatry is greatly hated by Allah, and humans must shun such practices. The judgment that befell the Children of Israel for this caused a faction that was sympathetic to idol worship (worshiping the calf) to be killed. And their abode in the hereafter will be hell fire. 5.There is no god except Allah. And His Remembrance is the most important duty of human life. Forgetting Allah here, means one forgets the reason why he or she came to the earth. This leads to blindness of spiritual insight and will cause a condemnation unto hell. 6. Every living being, whether believer or disbeliever will finally acknowledge Allah in the hereafter, even as they did acknowledge Him before they were in the wombs of their mothers. The first party will abide in Paradise, while the latter party will abide in hell. There is a clear distinction, so it is better to believe now, than to wait while the time of death draws near. 7. We should not pay heed to the devils whispering. It is hard to resist, but with prayer and constancy in worship-- it is visibly achievable. 8. Whenever a township is destroyed we are to fear Allah and do good deeds, that ours while we are in it, do not follow. 9. Prayers at fixed times enlivens the soul of a believer, and causes great joy in the heart. 10. The prophet is always right, there is no use in arguing against him while he is on the truth. That is why Allah told him to say: Say: Each is awaiting, so await ye! Ye will come to know who are the owners of the path of equity, and who is right.
