Tahafuz-e-Pakistan Convention will prove a milestone in imposition of Shariat in country: Mushtaq Khan KARACHI: The Tahafuz-e-Pakistan Convention, which is to be scheduled on March, 23 will prove a milestone in imposition of Islamic Shariat in the country. This was stated by Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, Naib Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Khyber Pukhtunkhwa (KPK) during his visit to Karachi Sabzi Mandi. During his visit, Khan met with the delegations of different traders in connection with ongoing membership campaign initiated by JI in Karachi. JI District Central Ameer Munaam Zafar Khan, office bearers of JI Gadap Town Haji Peermand Khan, Somaar Khan, Raja Shabbir Ahmed Khan, Amanullah Meerani, Shahabuddin and others accompanied the JI Naib Ameer KPK. The JI Naib Ameer KPK met with the traders’ leaders including Haji Shahnawaz, Gujjar Ahsan-ul-Haq, Abid Bashir, Haji Noor Muhammad, Azeem Khan, Muslim Khan, Zafar Ali Khan and others and invited them to join hands with JI to pull out the country from hot waters. Speaking at the occasion, Mushtaq Khan said that the honest and sincere leadership can change the recent situation of the country, adding that imposition of Islamic laws can bring revolution in the country. “We can get success in every sphere of life by following the teachings of Quran and Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) in our daily routine”, he added. On the occasion, Mushtaq Khan said that the people of Karachi always stand with the leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami, however; the city in the clutches of criminal elements through a planned conspiracy hatched by external powers. He linked the success of March, 23 Convention to the tireless working of the workers of JI and urged the party workers to visit every nook and corner of the city and invite people for their participation in Tahafuz-e-Pakistan Convention. Meanwhile, JI Naib Ameer KPK along with party office bearers also visited the residence of late Afzal Khan and offered his condolence to the bereaved family members.
