Tahoma wrestling had a great start to our summer season! The boys went 3-0 at the Rogers HS summer duals on Thursday and the team is excited for our upcoming events. Let me know if you have questions. I will be available from 2-3pm Monday and Wednesday this week at TMS to discuss our upcoming camps and answer questions. Also, if you do not see your name on one of the camp lists you plan to attend, please email or call me asap. June 24-27th Bear Claw Wrestling camp at TMS. You can still register at the door if you missed the online registration. Camp is from 9:30-2pm. Currently we have 70 wrestlers attending the camp with over 80% of them from Maple Valley! • We will compete in a dual meet tournament wresting 3 other teams on the last day starting at 1pm. June 29-July 2 NW Dual Championships @ OSU • We will meet at THS Saturday 6/29 at 6:45am to depart by 7am. Below is a “rough draft” line up and carpool assignments. Please let me know if you have travel questions or if you are at the wrong weight class. There will be one weigh in with a 2lb allowance when we check in on the 29th. State National Team Training Camp at EWU in Cheney. Wrestlers attending this camp will need to: complete a camp code of conduct form, a registration form, bring copies of their USA wrestling card and insurance card, and bring a cashier’s check to WSWA for $200. We will collect $35 from each wrestler to buy meals for the team. We will be camping at the fairgrounds eating cooler and BBQ food for our meals. There are RV sites as well on the grounds and families are allowed to travel and stay with the team if you would like to come watch the duals.
