Taj Mahal. Beauty in white. It reminds us of human achievements. According to historians, more than twenty thousand people worked ( no machinery, no crane, no electricity) for 22 years to build it. All of white marbles and each piece are cut with such precision that we can only think about it. Emperor Shah Jahan wanted to make another Taj Mahal with black marbles, but he was dethroned by his son Aurangazeb, who was against such extravagnzas. It was reported that Aurangazeb never took salary from the government. In fact he used to do manual jobs for his expense.
