Taj Mahal of Chookeries Thanks to Julian for building/repairing/singing carols whilst we rejigged the chez de chooks to be a little more snake proof. Julian gave a lot of his weekend to the task at hand and let me use some powertools. Let me tell you when I get a hold of one of those things Ill screw anything not already screwed...........okay cant believe I just said that but lets move on shall we. Ive attached some pictures to show you the intense industry that took place this weekend - it wasnt all breaking wind, eating bratwurst and anchovies you know. Serious work was carried out. Our chief Bantam and oldest chook Meringue knocked out an egg too, just to christen the place. Nice work Meringue. Note the construction of the rear wall of the chook house - we rammed the Bismarck into that sucker and it wouldnt break - it sort of helped that we rammed a plastic 1:320 model of the Bismarck into that sucker and it didnt break.
