Mobile Application Engineer Job Location: Al Khobar (Ash Sharqiyah-Saudi Arabia) Job Description: Mobile Application Engineer Takamul Smart Technology – Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia As a software engineer, you need to be versatile and always eager to tackle new problems. With your technical expertise you manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables. You design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions for mobile and "smart" devices with focus on iOS devices. Knowledge in other platforms i.e. Android, Windows and Blackberry is a plus! Job Description • To be in charge of mobile application development activities i.e. design, implementation, testing, commissioning & maintenance. • To provide advice and strategy like a real technologist on the technical side of mobility with respect to mobile technology evolution, cross platform technologies, web and native app development etc. • To oversee and handle mobile and embedded devices application development activities from start to end including integration efforts with external or internal entities. Skills • Solid experience with the iOS environment and guidelines for developing advanced applications for iOS (a must). • Experience with Android environment: Java, AppEngine, and GWT (a plus). • Experience developing applications for other mobile devices i.e. Blackberry, Windows and others (a plus). • Experience to create cross platform apps i.e. Adobe Air (a plus). • Experience in working with graphics (i.e. Photoshop). Experience in mobile and application UI design. • Experience in integration with servers and third party platforms using web services. • Strong problem solving skills, adaptable, proactive and willing to take ownership. • Strong interests in location-based real-time interaction, social apps, appealing UIs. • Expected to create robust implementations with clear documentation. • Expected to write clear, maintainable code, concise design documentation, and resilient tests. • Excellent listening, communication and presentation skills…both written and verbal (Arabic & English). • Goal oriented, self-motivated. • Able to work independently but within a team environment. Qualifications • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, & related subjects. • Objective C, iOS IDE (XCODE), Web Technologies i.e. PHP, .Net, Social APIs i.e. Facebook & Twiiter, OPEN GL and QUARTZ2D.
