Takas Survival: I used to get targeted in the jungle and felt so damn squishy that I wanted to give up playing Taka. Before doing that, I decided to do a root cause analysis and slowly unleash Taka-in-team victory. There are three basic problems with playing Taka. And this is where the primary difficulty is. 1. Taka gets his x-Retsu at Level 6. Before that he is a farmer. Mostly. And weak. So gets ganked easily like Ringo. 2. Taka needs gold very quickly to grow strong (Choice of Reds and Blues are upto u) 3. Taka needs lots of vision because he is a farmer turned assasin :-) Problem statement: I needed to farm quickly, needed vision and pre-empt ambush to farm in peace till I become a sniper. Solution steps: 1. Taka takes 38 seconds from home base to the shop in the jungle. So the moment, the game opens, rush through the lane to the shop in the jungle. Dont zigzag through the jungle. Takes more time. Take the right just before your first central turret. Why you may ask: There are two jungle stooges on each side of the shop in the jungle. They are the closest distance to each other and being near the shop is an added advantage. This helps quick farming. a) Jungle shop to enemy-side pair of stooges takes 4 seconds. kill them before the enemy knows they are gone. b) Enemy-side pair of stooges to your allied side pair of stooges takes 8 seconds and by the time you have finished these four, you would have crossed a 300 unit gold mark to buy weapon or skill or utility or consumable. Buy them from the shop. c) Move on to the inner jungle stooge standing alone. It takes 10 seconds from shop to him. d) Roll back to enemy side pair of stooges and repeat cycle. By the time you roll back, enemy would have paid a visit, seen that the stooges are gone and would have rolled back. Time to steal again. But beware. Put in the scout traps quickly. Your Kaku is still not activated yet. What to buy at the Shop: 1. I do Ironguard-1 unit, potions-2 units and scout traps-2 units. 2. Second buy Weapon blade + Scout trap 3. Six Sins+ Scout trap 4. Tension Bow 5. Sprint Boots + Scout traps 6. Lucky Strike + Scout traps 7. Tyrants monocle + Scout traps and then build on Serpents mask (and/or Eve of harvest) 8. Sell Iron guard. By this time, you would have the x-Retsu ready for x- ing the damn enemy :-) Scout traps are very important because once enemy knows you are stealing their gold, they will gank. So one scout trap goes to shop undergrowth on your side and the other goes to the corner bang opposite the enemy- side pair of stooges. That way, your scout traps would be safe and yet you would have vision. Go on in sequence systematically. I have numbered them. These locations are the ones which will give you vision and yet the traps will not explode. Once they explode, it is a waste of gold and you may want to replenish the trap. Watch the map. You may have other strategies. please do share and feel free to post your comment-good or bad. This will stand guard as long as possible and you will be able to hold your fort. Otherwise, adapt. Remember: Making maximum kills is NOT important. Winning the VAIN is. Stay alive, protect your team and your turrets. That will automatically dry up the enemy and force a surrender or defeat. PS: I have seen some players use some bits and pieces of this. Now that it is all in the open, it will be interesting to see what everyone does. Do share your counter strategies as well.
