Take Aways from Baseball Tonight: 1. Kaylee is much more interested seeing herself on the screen than watching the game 2. Easton is amazed Sandlot (Baseball) happens in real life and not just on the TV 3. Kindness of Children is very powerful- After the roughriders hit a home run, they threw the ball into the stands. It was meant for the little boy in front of us but ended up in Kaylee’s lap. We gave it back, insistent that the little boy should have it. It was meant for Pierson (That was his name because now Kaylee has a friend that is from South Carolina who was here visiting and has a playdate scheduled, knows that his favorite show is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and knows who his neighbors are along with his dogs names) About 2 minutes later Pierson turned around and said, talking about Easton, “That little boy needs it, I have baseballs and he doesnt. I want him to have it.” No prompting from his mom, no pressure from us, he just wanted to give something he already was blessed with. Easton was excited and now it’s placed on his shelf of treasures.
