Parveena Ahangar heads the Association for Parents of Disappeared Persons (APDP), a support group for mothers who have lost loved ones over the course of the continuing Indian presence in Kashmir. This film is about the two of them meeting for the first time. Shot from the perspective of Roushan and his new and sometimes uncomfortable discovery of the situation around him as experienced by those directly affected by the occupation, this film presents a picture of Kashmir rarely seen - this is not a news report, but a story of two people coming to grips with how to cope when a nation state turns against their own.
