On the calendar this evening: Fall 2014 Band Extravaganza -- 7:30 p.m. in the Center for the Fine and Performing Arts Recital Hall. Admission is free and open to the public. Doors open at 7 p.m. IBC Keynote Speaker Series -- Dr. Daniel Kanstroom, professor of law, Boston College Law School, will present “Aftermath: Deportation Law and the New American Diaspora,” based on his book by the same name. Admission is free and open to the public. The lecture will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the TAMIU Student Center Ballroom. A reception will start at 7 p.m. and translation services, from English to Spanish, will be available.
