Take a moment and think about this ! Ever have a “significant other” lie to you, blatantly with no respect or regard? Not a “honey I like the dress” lie, but something harmful, genuine deceit with malicious intent. How about an overly dominant partner? You know, the kind that has to shop for you, decide what you wear, what you eat, when and how much, because they know what’s best for you and you don’t. Or the cheater, the one that betrays your love and trust, stabbing you in the back for their own lust and self interest. There’s also the user and the mooch, more worried about what they can get off you than anything else. Seriously, how would you respond to your spouse if they did any of the above, or all.Our current administration dominating Capitol Hill has done all of the above and more to the American people. We all know of the corruption and lies, and to be quite honest, other than historical lesson learned, I could give a rats ass what any of the past presidents did. Pointing the finger at the past to justify doing the same thing in the present is about ridiculous as it gets. Especially when you do it times 3. So I ask, with the divorce rate so high as evidence to our intolerance of wrong doings in matters of trust, why are we so tolerant of our government treating us worse than our most evil ex? Is this really change we can believe in, or just the best lies yet?
