Take a trip back with me this morning...Remember when you were like 8 or 9 and Saturday morning consisted of being parked in front of the television with pajamas that zipped up from the feet, a bowl of cereal and Saturday morning cartoons. Can you see it?..after the cartoons went off we went outside where our games were played in the streets and not with a joystick in our hand. We had candy stores that actually sold candy for a penny. Young girls jumped double dutch on the sidewalk while young guys were headed to the courts or the field. On hot days fire hydrants were opened and there was a universal curfew...The street lights!!! The end of the night always consisted of you fighting to stay up to catch showtime at the apollo!! These kids today are so busy trying to be HOOD but they missed the most important one CHILDHOOD!!
