Take cover or stand well back. I am about to drop some Truth Bombs..... When you are working your online business, you are always going to see what results your fellow entrepreneurs are posting. Many of these will be people that are involved in the same business as yourself. You will find that you probably pay most attention to the people that you consider are most like you. The guys earning $50k a month who you know have established reputations and massive resources seem to be unrealistic when you compare those results to your own. So you cant help noticing the information being posted by people that you identify most with. The ones who you feel are from similar backgrounds, similar age, similar general activity on Facebook. The ones that you would say They are like me. So, when you see them posting results where they made a couple of grand last month, how do you feel when you know you barely scraped $100 of profit? Especially if you are working with the same company? Maybe you both work full time and are fitting your online business around your 9-5? Maybe you are both stay at home moms and try to work at any chance you have while the kids are at school? Whatever it is that you have in common, how come they are out-performing you when you are both putting in the same effort and trying just as hard. Here is where the truth might hurt. YOURE NOT DOING THE SAME AS THEM. They may be actually putting in more effort than you. They may be working harder behind the scenes, doing things you dont even see. They may watch more training, have a better mentor, stay up later at night, devote more weekend time to generating wealth. They may be doing things more effectively than you, they may be following the company training more closely, doing more of the things that should be done, not cutting corners. Whatever it is, they are clearly doing something different because their results are different. But thats the beauty of an online business. More than any other industry, anyone has the opportunity to succeed, just by copying what other successful people have done before them. Its not like you want to sell vacuum cleaners door to door in your town but every single door has already been knocked on by somebody before you. We are talking about connecting with people on Facebook. 1.2 BILLION individual users each month. Trust me, all those doors have not been knocked on yet, and even the ones that have, you are likely to find it is very likely that people that have said no to others, could be ready to say yes if you present yourself as the right person. So be honest with yourself. Dont get disheartened when you see people you thought were like you starting to get the results you thought you deserved. Be inspired. Get motivated. Connect with them and you will probably find they will tell you exactly what they are doing if you cant see it for yourself. You will almost certainly pick up tips from being connected to them as well. Dont worry. Youre going to make it. As long as you are prepared to learn from others then you have nothing to worry about.
