Take selfies!!! And, take them often! Yep, you heard right! I take progress pictures once a week. I setup my camera, put on a pair of shorts and take pictures every Sunday morning. Or, if I’m traveling, I’ll take a cell phone picture of myself in a mirror. These pictures are for my eyes only and I store them in a folder on my computer organized by date. Selfies are one of the tools that I use to measure my progress. Its extremely hard to see the daily or even weekly changes in your own body. Can you use the scale to track progress? Sure, but the scale can be misleading especially if you’re swollen from an intense workout or bloated. If you compare pictures from one month to the next, it becomes much easier to see the differences in your body that would otherwise be overlooked. So, get to snapping!
