Take several deep breaths from a comfortable but upright posture. - TopicsExpress

Take several deep breaths from a comfortable but upright posture. While doing so, take a moment to listen to the sounds in your office or cubicle: the cool air being pushed through the vents; the subtle but persistent hum of your computer as it draws electricity from the wall socket. Now shift your attention to the feelings in your body. Try to identify colonies of tension, perhaps in your back or shoulders from having been sitting in your chair, or in your fingers, from the motions of typing or writing. Wherever you find tension, let it dissolve as your in-breaths dissolve into out-breaths. When ready, resume your activity, refreshed, alert, aware.
