Take time and read some thoughts from a Swede living in Scotland This is the first time Ive been involved in a voting that has engaged me, in the 12yrs Ive lived in Scotland. Why, you may ask? The simple answer is because all the general elections Ive not been allowed to vote and in the local election Ive felt that it hasnt matter what I vote, because Westminster still make the rules. Im surprised of the way mass media has portrayed this referendum. In Sweden during an election, theres a slight hint where news papers stands, whether they are left or right. But I have never seen tv-presenters or news-readers showing their view so openly as Ive seen in this referendum. Its a disgrace!!! They should just present facts not opinions, in every summary at night, or when reporting on whats gonna be in the tomorrows newspapers, theres ONLY English people ventilating there views, NEVER Scottish. I thought it was a Scottish referendum, or have I missed the point??? The English arent voting are they??? So why are we only their voices we hear, talking about ISSUE (not ISHUE). SKY, BBC, ITV and even STV have got mostly presenters that are clearly NO-voters. I urge every single one in SCOTLAND that are voting to think for a moment about what has happened in the last few days. Due to the strong words from Westminster, if theres God forbid a NO vote, they will do everything in their power to punish us for wanting our Independence. So there will be dramatic cuts and we will not get any more power, most likely less than we have today. Thats a certainty not a threat or a probability, all party leaders have openly admitted it, some more than others. So if you think things are terrible now, with a NO vote it will be at least 10 times worse. VOTE YES FOR A BETTER SCOTLAND!!!
