Take time every single day to note, commend and be thankful for little qualities about your husband (or wife for you men who read our posts). It may be the way he touches the small of your back as he opens the door for you and steps aside to let you walk in first. It may be a crooked smile or twinkling eyes. It may be that they look you in the eye when you speak or they speak to you. It may be that they work hard to contribute to the family and home. Find small things that make the big things more enjoyable or perhaps more bearable. Respect and love them for who they are, not who you think they should be or even who you think you want them to be. The first is who you fell in love with and married. Youll be amazed at how quickly your view and heart will line up with Gods words to wives in scripture when you do this.
