Take time to enjoy your loved ones, family, friends, and make each moment count. You never know when things can change. The last forty-eight hours have been a whirlwind, learning so much about cancer, chemo, medical procedures, blood counts and so much more. As my mom was admitted to the hospital, I felt like Dorothy when she said were not in Kansas anymore. A huge thank you to Pastor Raymond for being there when I needed someone the most in the Er and then today as she moved to ICU. The reassuring words, prayers, and assurance that we put our faith in him. Were still not out of the woods yet, but my moms spunk and sass tonight had me tori, Jess, and Isaac smiling and laughing. She has been my rock for so long, now its my turn to be her rock. The nurses and doctors at Saint Claires have been more than wonderful. From their compassion to their knowledge, I can rest tonight knowing she is where she needs to be and is receiving great care.
